I am teaching Kindergarten Immersion, Physical Education 1/2/3, Physical Education 3/4 Immersion and grades 1/2 Immersion every second afternoon.
This year, the School Division Goal as well as our school goal is to focus on reading. Of course reading has always been one of our main educational focuses, but now we are going to make it much more visible to students, parents and the community. It is so important to read with your children, even if only for five minutes a day. Read anything, cereal boxes, instructions, recipes, magazines, flyers, messages from family members and of course books. Children of all ages need to see that reading is important in every day life, not just for enjoying stories and books.
